
Royal Academy of Music Aarhus / Aalborg (RAMA)
The Royal Academy of Music Aarhus/Aalborg (RAMA) is a stakeholder of the Christian Lindberg International Solo Competition for Brass and Percussion.
Founded in 1927 and known in Danish as Det Jyske Musikkonservatorium, RAMA is one of Denmark’s leading institutions for higher music education. The academy operates campuses in Aarhus, Aalborg and Holstebro and is a state institution under the auspices of the Danish Ministry of Culture.
Located in the centre of Aarhus as part of Musikhuset Aarhus, Scandinavia’s largest concert hall complex, the academy offers an outstanding environment for artistic collaboration, performances and international exchange.
With a strong international profile and an extensive network of partnerships across Europe and beyond, RAMA attracts students and faculty from around the world and plays an important role in the development of musical culture in Denmark.
